🚗 Rideshare Strategy

Drinking later? Smart move — leave the cars home.

🍻 Hungover Already? Read This

The night before is going to happen. We get it. But hear us out:

⏰ Running Late?

Text the captain immediately (number on the Captain tab). We'll wait up to 15 minutes — anything more, the tide and fuel window slip away. No-show without notice = full charter fee charged.

🌊 Weather Watch

If conditions are questionable, we'll send a status update by 6:00 AM the morning of. We don't take charters out in unsafe conditions — your safety is the only thing that comes before the fish.

🎯 The Mission

Brennan said he wants to "catch a fish bigger than his marriage anxiety." Challenge accepted. Here's our target species board for an 8-hour offshore in June:

Mahi Mahi (Dolphin) Sailfish Wahoo Kingfish Blackfin Tuna Shark (released)

Realistic expectation: 15-25 fish landed for a group of 6 on a good day. Brennan gets first dibs on the first big one — that's the rule.

💰 Cost Breakdown

Best Man Danny has handled the booking. Here's what the day looks like financially:

8-Hour Offshore Charter $1,850
Fuel surcharge (paid) included
Bait, tackle, licenses included
Suggested tip (20%) $370
Food & drinks (BYO) $200 (rough)
Per person (split 5 ways, Brennan free) ~$485

💸 Send Danny Your Share

Danny fronted the deposit. Venmo him your share by Thursday night so nobody plays the "I'll get you later" game.

What to bring.

8 hours offshore. Sun, salt, swells. Pack like you're going to war with the ocean.

☀️ Sun & Weather Gear

👟 Footwear

🍺 Food, Drinks & Recovery

You're going to want all of this:

Reminder: Drinking responsibly = drinking like you're trying to enjoy yourself, not destroy yourself. Captain has final say on cutting anyone off. Don't be that guy.

🤢 Sea Sickness Prevention

Even tough guys get crushed by offshore swells. Trust us:

💵 Cash for the Crew

Captain and mate work like crazy. If you have a great day, gratuity is customary and very much appreciated:

Standard: 15-20% Bring cash Venmo accepted (ask captain)

🎣 What We Provide

Leave Behind

How the day unfolds.

Dock to dock — 8 hours offshore. Roughly what to expect.

6:00 AM
Weather check + final text confirmation
If anything's off, captain texts Danny by this time.
6:30 AM
Arrive at Bahia Mar Marina
All six guys at the dock. Captain and mate greet you, quick safety brief, sign waivers.
7:00 AM
Engines on, we depart
25-40 min run offshore. Coffee, water, settle in. Hangovers start kicking in for some of you — that's normal.
7:45 AM
First spot — trolling
Captain sets the spread. Multiple lines out for mahi, wahoo, sails. First strike could be at any moment — get ready.
10:00 AM
Adjust strategy based on bite
Captain reads the water, the temperature breaks, the bird activity. Could be drifting live bait, deep dropping for grouper, or running to the weed line for mahi.
12:00 PM
Lunch break (sort of)
Break out the sandwiches. Lines still in the water. Mahi don't care that you're hungry.
1:30 PM
Final push — best bite of the day
Afternoon often produces the trophy fish. This is when Brennan gets his "story bigger than his anxiety" fish.
2:30 PM
Run back to the dock
25-40 min back. Catch the salt spray, take photos, count what you kept.
3:00 PM
Dock — fish bagged, tips paid, beers cracked
Mate cleans your fish, photos with the catch. Now the real bachelor party starts.

🏆 Tag & Mount

Caught a trophy? Especially a sailfish or large mahi? Good Hit supports tag-and-release research. The fish goes back to the water for science. You get a fiberglass replica — more durable than old-school taxidermy — to hang on your wall.

Best gift Brennan's wife could ever give him. Ask the captain.

Rules & policies.

Read once. Bachelor party fun. Captain's boat, captain's rules.

⚓ Captain's Authority

Once we cast off, the captain has final say on safety, fishing spots, timing, and behavior. If captain says sit down, you sit down. If captain says cut someone off, that's it. No arguments.

🦺 Safety Basics

🚫 The Bachelor Party Real Talk

Look. We've done a lot of these. We get what bachelor parties are. But:

If captain says someone's done drinking, they're done. No "one more." Not worth ending the trip early for the whole crew.

🐟 Conservation & Catch Rules

Good Hit Sport Fishing follows Florida regulations strictly. The captain decides what stays and what goes back.

Captain's word is final. "Let it go" means let it go.

📋 Cancellation Policy

After the trip.

Caught fish. Now what? The real bachelor party starts at 3 PM.

🍴 Cook Your Catch

Bring your bagged filets — these Fort Lauderdale spots will cook them any way you want for a small fee:

Call ahead. Mention you were on a Good Hit Sport Fishing charter — they'll prioritize you.

📸 Photos & Memories

Captain and mate will document every keeper. After the trip, you'll get a text/email with a link to all photos — no charge. Brennan's grandkids will see these one day.

What you just scrolled is a sample digital pre-trip guide we built specifically for Good Hit Sport Fishing — using only information from your public website. Every charter group could receive a personalized version of this page after booking: bachelor parties, families, corporate groups, etc. Instead of repeating the same answers about gear, meeting points, and policies, your customers arrive at the dock ready to fish.

If this is interesting to you, we'd love to talk. No pressure, no obligation — just a captain-friendly tool that we built because we noticed the gap.
